PGME will be hosting a Critical Care Triage Town Hall on April 20 from 4:00-5:00 pm with Drs. Andrea Frolic and Simon Oczkowski to discuss the short-term mortality risk calculation tool. This session will provide a platform in which you can ask any questions and ask for explanations regarding decision making. All discussions will be minuted and shared with everyone.


Objectives:


    

  • to understand the rationale and principles for critical care triage during the pandemic
    • 

  • to understand the overall process of triage and its local implementation
    • 

  • to be familiarized the specific criteria which will be used in Ontario if triage is required
    • 

  • to know the supports available to staff and residents if they need to participate in triage decisions
    •
