Congratulations and Welcome!

Congratulations and on behalf of the postgraduate medical education community at McMaster University we welcome you!  We are excited that you have chosen McMaster for your postgraduate medical education and we look forward to being part of your residency experience. We are in the process of planning for orientation – which will be held at the end of June. As soon as the date and itinerary is finalized we will update you with the specific information you need to plan your attendance.

In the next month you will receive an email from a Medportal.ca account to the personal email account you identified on your CaRMS application. This email will give you the information required to start your registration process. If you do not receive this email by April 1^st be sure to check your Spam mail folder.  If you do not find the email in your spam please send a note to postgd@mcmaster.ca and let us know that you have not received the Medportal registration email.

In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to learn more about McMaster in the DISCOVER and TRAIN sections of our website. Once you have access to Medportal, please take some time to explore and learn more about your training at McMaster.
