Educational Opportunity in Knowledge Translation-one day course
The HHS Centre for Evidence-Based Implementation (CEBI) is offering an introductory course called “Knowledge Translation in Action” through the HHS Centre for People Development on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 9:00am-3:00pm at the Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre. This course is intended for those Learners and HHS staff that are interested in knowledge translation/implementation science. This course will help participants establish foundations in KT science, along with practical strategies to move knowledge into action.
After attending this session, participants will be able to:
· Define knowledge translation (KT)
· Describe the knowledge to action cycle
· Determine a solution to a clinical challenge that is suitable for the HHS context
· Identify the best KT intervention to promote uptake of the clinical or organizational solution
· Identify methods to evaluate the implementation of the KT intervention and clinical/organizational solution
