Area of Focused Competence (AFC) Programs

Area of Focused Competence (AFC) are diploma programs recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. They focus on an area of medical expertise that is not a requirement for specialty or subspecialty disciplines. These programs, with the exception of the Clinician Educator program, are only completed post certification. Applications are submitted directly to the AFC Program.
