Music – The Neglected and Forgotten Pillar of Mental Health …a concert – lecture series
The McMaster Resident Affairs office, in collaboration with The McMaster Okanagan and Concerts in Care, is offering a unique opportunity for all faculty, residents and fellows. This program is aimed at medical practitioner and is specifically designed “to stimulate further health & well-being ideas, ultimately creating opportunities for health & well-being research collaborations”. Learn about the concept that music has a central role in our social network, our social growth and how it is fundamental to how we communicate. Each concert will bring together learners and faculty from various disciplines, the experts (from clinical, scientific and research background), and the professional musicians. The discussion will direct the audience’s attention to the potential clinical applications of music in medicine.
