UnWRaP Study
You are invited to participate in a research study — Understanding the Wellbeing of Residents and Partners (UnWRaP) – Version 2.0. We seek to answer the following two questions:
- How has residency or fellowship influenced your relationships?
- How have your relationships influenced your experience of residency?
We also hope to discover how you and your partner might be better supported during training.
The Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) office is assisting the research team in recruiting residents and fellows to participate in the study survey. However, all responses are confidential and your responses will not be linked to you or your partner by anyone in PGME.
This survey should take you approximately 20 minutes to complete. If you have a partner, we would also like you to invite them to participate. After submission of your survey, you will be emailed a survey link for your partner (if applicable), which you can forward to them. You and your partner will not be able to see each others’ survey results. Upon completion of each survey, you and your partner can receive a $10 gift card in appreciation for your participation.

If you have any questions or concerns about this study, please contact the research team at UnWRaP@mcmaster.ca. Thank you in advance for your consideration of this research study.
Sincerely,
Dr. Enas El Gouhary, Dr. Catharine Munn, and the UnWRaP Research Team
